Flag Football
Chase is having a great time playing flag football, and he is doing really well. His first games were last Saturday. He played well both games. In the second game, he scored 2 touchdowns.

Breaking away
Is he going to get caught?

Fright Fest
We barely squeezed in a trip to Fright Fest, but we made it. It was a big trip because Nate finally conquered his fear of the Titan. He was so proud of himself (and I was proud of him too). Cade also learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. Yeah!!

Star Wars at Cowboys' Stadium
We were able to go and see the symphony perform music from Star Wars. The concert was at the new Cowboys' stadium. It was great. They showed some scenes from the movies on the big screen. All of the boys loved it, especially Nate. He still talks about it ALL the time. He refers to it as, "Star Wars Clone Wars". He goes around singing the Star Wars theme, excuse me, the "Star Wars Clone Wars" music. In Bible class on Sunday, he asked if they could sing Clone Wars. I just downloaded Star Wars music for him. He was so happy when I played it for him this morning.

Nate Quotes of the Day
When asked if he was going to sleep in his socks, "No, I think I am going to sleep in my feets."
When praying, "Thank you for Mark, he is Daddy." You know, just in case God got confused.

Trick or Treat
Cade ditched his zombie outfit for his penguin outfit. He was very happy with his choice. He loved hearing people comment on his costume. I am guessing that he was the only penguin out there. The boys had a great time trick or treating. Chase handed out candy, and then he went trick or treating with some friends. I guess we aren't good enough for him anymore :(
My zombie, penguin, scary something, and spider

Nate wore out and wanted to be carried. I didn't mind.
Mark didn't mind either
Cade put back on his costume and went to bed on the couch. He really wanted to sleep in his costume. Such a silly boy.
Nate Quote of the Day
After Chase's second football game today (at which Chase totally rocked), "Hey, where is my Caderaider?" Not a sweet brother asking for his brother Cade (whose nickname is Cader Raider), but a boy who is wanting to make sure that he gets a Gatorade. After we were home, he asked for it again. I told him that it was in the car, and he told me that it was not his "responsibility" to get it. I wonder what he thinks his responsibilities are? Playing, watching tv, snacking, being waited on hand and foot, etc...

Fall Festival
Cade's school had their annual fall festival on the 30th. Cade switched from the zombie costume to his beloved penguin costume. He wore it for about 10 minutes and then Mark carried it around for the rest of the evening. Chase and Dylan were too cool for costumes. For some reason, I did not get any pictures of Dylan. He really was there.
My costume boys
Chase was glad to find a good friend at the event.
Nate was thrilled that the Flips bus was back. He loved this bus last year and went on it over and over again. He enjoyed it again this year, but he wasn't as obsessive about it.
The petting zoo was fun!
